Cuptastic Challenge!
Stack, Aim, Toss, & Catch! We invite kids in grades 1-4 to join us for a variety of plastic cup activities. Come show off your skills in both individual and team challenges! Registration Required. Drop-ins welcome if space allows. Caregivers must remain on library premises.
Spring Break Storytime
Active babies, toddlers and preschoolers and their families are invited to join us for a fun morning storytime. We will share stories, sing songs, and learn rhymes. Movement activities and some basic ASL will be included as well. Feel free to stay after to socialize.
Young Yogis Stretch and Grow!
Young yogis in grades K-3 are invited to a brand new yoga program. You will learn gentle stretches, fun new poses, and become in tune with your breath. Caregivers are welcome to join in. Yoga mats are provided, however feel free to bring your own. Registration required. Drop-ins welcome if space allows. Caregivers must remain on library premises.
Teen Library Council
The Wilton Teen Library Council (TLC) is a monthly group for youth in grades 6-12 who are interested in becoming more involved with the library. All Wilton teens are welcome.
Bouncing Babies
Join us for this interactive program especially for pre-walking babies from birth on up. We will share stories, songs, and rhymes. Scarves and movement activities will be included, as well as some basic ASL and we will close out with a calming lullaby. Feel free to stay after to socialize. No Registration required.
Celebrate Earth Day with STEM!
Children ages 4 through 8 are invited to come celebrate Earth Day with a hands-on STEM activity. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the process of seed germination, and create their own seed clusters to take home. Dress for mess! Registration required. Drop-ins welcome if space allows. Caregivers must remain on library premises.
Petite Concerts for Little Ones
Families with children ages 0-5 are invited to join us for a short classical and nursery song concert with sing-alongs and dances. We will finish with a chance for the little ones to get up close and personal with some instruments. All are welcome! No registration required.
Hack That Painting: Spring Has Sprung! for Grades 4-7
Creative kids in grades 4-7 will be handed a finished painting and a brush. That's when the fun begins! Hack that painting however you like! Add something serious or silly, subtle or bold: it's up to you! Wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on! Registration required. Drop-ins welcome if space allows.
Goldbas Music Storytime
Babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their families, are invited to join husband and wife team Jake and Kate Goldbas as they bring children's literature to life through song, imaginative play, and movement in their interactive storytime meets sing-a-long! Please note that this program will now be held at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.
